Kemler`s Restaurant in Bloomsburg

Really good food at a really good price. Had the beef steak and eggs. Coffee was fresh tasting. The waitress seemed irritated for some reason. Perhaps she was having a bad morning. Felt a little bit like an inconvenience than a customer. Will try again probably another day for lunch.

Family owned local favorite...... Good food

Mostly like the food and the ambiance. The inside of the building always reminds me of something you might see in Alaska. The portions can be smallish, but so are the prices (I mostly eat breakfast there and it's very good). I have no complaints about the staff as apparently some people do. One waitress is a bit standoffish, but certainly not to the point of rude! I rarely give 5 stars, so 4 in my book is very good.

Homey atmosphere, great decor,friendly staff, delicious food (and lots of it) for a great price! I got a plateful of homefries, eggs, and bacon, plus three pieces of french toast, and a pitcher of tea and a cup of juice for $7.50! It's our new favorite breakfast place 😊

Ate breakfast with the family here on June 27th I must say the food was GREAT the restaurant was clean along with the reatrooms when going to Knoebels this will be our new breakfast stop from now on!!!!!Service was excellent couldn't ask for more.

Food was good but waitress was not, asked what something was on the menu and she rolled her eyes and didn't explain what it was or what was in it...all she said was chicken. If you treat your customers like that it's time to get OUT!!!! I'M usually a good tipper but not this time...Never Even Came Back To Check On Us!!!!! TIME TO GET OUT OF THE BUSINESS!!!!!

Kemler's Restaurant is a GREAT!!! place to eat. My Mother and I eat there on a regular basis and never had a bad Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

The food is very good, and the prices are cheap. However, this restaurant is heavily understaffed. We went here on a Friday night and there was one waitress waiting on all the tables, which resulted in increased wait times, and made an otherwise excellent experience lackluster.

Great diner like atmosphere, serve breakfast all day. Seems like a local favorite. omelette was very good

The food might be great, If we actually had service and not had eyes rolled at us and wasn't even offered drinks. Waited almost 10 minutes to even be welcomed (which never happened) but got up and left when two women walked in and got service and a smile instantly. Felt pretty crumby and unwanted. Gave our table to a nice family in Hope's that they won't have to wait.

Excellent omelets. I had a western omelet and it was absolutely the best I have ever had. Excellent service and price.

Food was good, service good. I didn't give 5 stars because of their price structure. Got an omelet and you had to pay extra for homefries, extra if you wanted onions and peppers in the homefries, etc. Overall good place.

Kemler's is an exceptional small diner-style restaurant done thoroughly right. Food here is homemade, delicious country-style fare for a very easy price. I love the grilled ham and cheese, and I usually order two. Many times there's a great big crock of homemade soup and I'll have a generous cup of that too. The ham & bean, as well as the chicken chili, are amazing. I also remember back in the days when I was capable of getting up early enough, the breakfast was top-notch too. Keith, the owner, is a nice guy and he comes out from the back to talk to me when I go in. He recognizes and appreciates me as a customer. The same goes for all the waitstaff who work there; they are always friendly to me. It's fantastic to go into a place and feel welcome like that. That plus the delicious food will keep me coming back as long as I'm in the area.

Stopped here today while driving to Philly. The decor is a fun mix of log cabin meets mid-century modern. Food was good, service was friendly. Three meat omelet was full of meat and very tasty. Sourdough buckwheat pancakes are different than I expected. Sho-fly pie was good. If we happen past here, we'd definitely stop in again.

Food was great. My son loved the lasagna special. My BLT was very good and my husbands turkey club was also very good. Friendly.

WORST RESTAURANT I EVER ATE AT!!! The waitress was truly unpleasant. The cups they give you to drink out of are children's cups, about 2 sips worth. Have to wait 20 minutes for a refill. The waitress was talking down another restaurant that is down the road which is 100 times better than this place. The food was so awful I couldn't finish it the toast was soggy, hash browns were just potatoes that had no flavor, steak and sausage tasted very off. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else this place is a joke.

This is a pretty good little locally owned restaurant. They have a variety of menu options that should make everyone happy. There are not many vegan options as a heads up for those who prefer it. My only complaint is that I wish they would use locally roasted coffee. There are so many local roasters available. It would be nice to see local businesses supporting other local businesses.My folks love going here when out doing errands. And, everyone enjoyed their food while I was along. They were great about allowing me to share my food with my toddler. (Some places will charge you a fee if you do this with a child. This restaurant did not charge me extra for it.)

The food was awesome. The service could have been better but they were friendly enough, so I let that slide.
